The Heroes Baseball summer camp provided an enriching and supportive environment for my son, Grant, to grow in a number of ways. The loving and well-trained staff fostered his love for sports through activities targeting his physical, social and emotional, cognitive, as well as spiritual well-being. He enthusiastically shared camp activities and quickly generalized skills to daily life. I was amazed at his spiritual growth and how he proved eager to sing songs of praise and pray. Such skills align with our family’s core values and we are thrilled to know that Grant found a love of God through his favorite game- Basball

Our experience at the Serving Institute this summer would be to say it was an overwhelmingly powerful experience. My son, who tends to be apprehensive and shy in new settings, absolutely LOVED his time there— which as parents made us very happy. Each day, he was eager to arrive to the Institute and was picked up sweaty, happy, and filled with excitement and stories to share. Although we knew the physical workouts would be top notch, we were beyond impressed with the education he received, the manners and social etiquette training, and the worship lessons— it was a complete day where our son grew in every way possible! Coach Elmo and Coach Jack reinforced character and social skills which is a hidden gem in the program. The boys grew as a brotherhood of friends eager to see each other each day and hard to leave one another at pick-up time. We highly recommend— and can’t wait for next summer!

I just wanted to say thank you. We had stopped going to church due to the pandemic and the boys had actually just made their first communion. With both of my boys being involved in your summer program and the introduction of faith and prayer into the daily program, I was amazed to find them both separately and independently exploring their faith. Rex I found looking up Bible versus and listening to them on tic tok. Vince I found asking to pray more often and asking more questions about religion and good and evil. We started to pray together again at night and it really has made it normal for my boys. I guess the best way to say it is your program let my boys know that it’s cool to have faith and finally gave them a way to relate and find faith on their terms.
